On Dec. 22, I held a meeting with the Directors of the 11 Christian schools to which we give budgetary assistance.  It was a wonderful time of sharing news and prayer requests.  

After some moments of prayer and praise to our Lord who makes our ministry possible, we spent some time on how the kids letters should be done and improved upon.  Following this time of business we were able to share a meal and fellowship together.  All in all time well spent--hopefully it will also serve to bless the kids.  

 

We had a pertinent meditation on Psalm 78 that applies well to all those who are engaged in Children's ministry.  Read verses 1--8.  Its something we can't afford to be lax in -- presenting the Gospel to children and giving them opportunity to learn about and hopefully receive JESUS into their hearts.  This would be a far better gift than the Play Stations, DVD players and other such stuff we lavish upon kids in wealthier countries.  

 

Let's check our priorities and adjust our goals this year in regard to our children.
